Journal · hanging & install

When to call an installer — and when a hammer is enough.

Professional install in progress with ladders and wrapped art at a hospital lobby.
This is an install day — not a Saturday hammer job.

Not every nail needs a crew. Not every wall should be a Saturday experiment either. Here's how we draw the line at the bench.

One nail is fine. A whole wall may need a crew.

DIY is fine when…

Use the 57-inch center rule, paper templates on the wall, and hardware rated for the weight. Glass is heavier than people guess — acrylic helps on big pieces for exactly that reason.

Call a pro when…

That's not upselling. It's the difference between a clean hang and a cracked pane or a crooked line you stare at for years.

Stairwell gallery wall of black frames.
Stairs, height, and level lines — call it when it's not simple.
Nine matching executive portraits in ornate gold frames.
Commercial grids: spacing, nameplates, and a crew.
We deliver and install locally. From a single statement piece over a sofa to a full property install. Ask when you order, or message the ZIP and piece count — visit / delivery · designers and GCs: trade.

What we bring that a hardware-store trip doesn't

Hardware matched to the build (not whatever was in the junk drawer), spacing that matches the design you approved, and a crew that already handled the piece at the bench. For trade projects we schedule with your phase dates — not "sometime next month."
