How we frame it
The whole trick to a jersey is that there's no trick — it's mounted with hidden stitches and pins onto an acid-free backing, so it can come back out exactly as it went in. Nothing adhesive ever touches the fabric. If it's signed, we position the number and the signature to both read at a glance.
Jerseys have thickness — collars, seams, the way a sleeve sits. A shadow box gives the piece room to breathe so it looks worn, not flattened under glass. We build the depth to the garment, not to a standard size.
A signature and a team color are the first things sunlight eats. Conservation glazing blocks the UV that fades them, and museum glass makes the glass itself disappear. On a south-facing Florida wall, that's not an upsell — it's the difference between forever and five years.

Yes — jerseys are mounted with hidden stitches and pins onto acid-free backing. No glue, no staples. It can be removed later exactly as it came in.
It depends on the shadow-box depth, the moulding, and the glass. You'll see the price as you design — bring the jersey in, or send a photo, and we'll quote it.
For anything with a signature or on a sunny wall, conservation (UV) glazing is worth it — it's what keeps the ink from fading. We'll tell you honestly when a piece needs it.
