This policy explains what The Frame Shop (“we,” “us”) collects when you use theframe-shop.com, our online designer, booking and consult forms, and related services — and how we use it.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Contact details you send us — name, email, phone, ZIP, and message content (consult, booking, trade, location interest).
- Account details if you create an account (email and authentication data via our auth provider).
- Order and fulfillment details — design choices, shipping or pickup preferences, and payment status. Card numbers are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card data on our servers.
- Files you upload — photos and artwork files used to design, quote, print, or frame your piece.
- Technical data — standard server and security logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to run and protect the site.
How we use information
- To respond to consults, bookings, and trade inquiries.
- To design, price, produce, ship, or arrange pickup for your order.
- To operate your account and order history when you sign in.
- To improve the site, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted processors to run the business, including hosting (Netlify), authentication and app data (Supabase), payments (Stripe), and email/calendar tools when you book or write us. They only receive what they need to perform those services.
Photos and artwork files
Files you upload are used to preview, quote, print, and frame your work. We keep them as needed to complete the job and for reasonable business records. If you want a file deleted after the job is done, email hello@theframe-shop.com.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies or similar storage required for sign-in, cart/session behavior, and security. With your consent, we also collect first-party analytics (pages visited, designer funnel steps, and technical errors) stored in our own database so we can improve the site. You can choose Necessary only or Accept analytics in the cookie banner, and change that later by clearing site data or contacting us. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel pack on the public site. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How long we keep data
We keep contact and order records as long as needed for the job, warranties/remakes, accounting, and legal requirements, then delete or anonymize when no longer needed.
Your choices
You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, or ask us to stop non-essential email, by writing hello@theframe-shop.com. We may need to keep some records (for example, completed orders) where the law or the job requires it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
We use HTTPS and industry-standard providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong password for any account you create.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
